Final Call for International Artists: E.SUN Art Awards 2026
Deadline for Applications: 17 July 2026
E.SUN Bank is issuing a final global call for entries to the E.SUN Art Awards 2026, which celebrates nature, music and the beauty of Yushan, with a USD36,000 first prize, before the 17 July 2026 deadline at 23:59 (Taipei time, UTC+8).
Since its launch in 2012 and its subsequent introduction of the International Category in 2022, the E.SUN Art Awards have received more than 5,000 submissions from 72 countries across five continents, establishing the competition as one of Taiwan’s leading international art platforms. Eligible media include oil, acrylic, and gouache, encouraging diverse creative interpretations of Yushan’s majestic landscapes and cultural symbolism.
This year’s edition places special emphasis on the themes of nature and music, encouraging artists to translate rhythm, emotion, and environmental awareness into visual form. Through art, the awards aim to deepen appreciation for the natural world while highlighting the emotional and cross-disciplinary connections between music, landscape, and human creativity.
Artists are encouraged to present fresh and contemporary perspectives on Yushan, a mountain that has long inspired generations through its grandeur, ecological significance, and spiritual presence.
Applications for the International Category are conducted entirely online. In addition to the First Prize, the competition also recognises outstanding talent through Special Selection and Outstanding Awards, reaffirming E.SUN Bank’s long-standing commitment to supporting international artistic exchange and cultural dialogue.
