Inspired by the artwork ‘Painting Bitten By a Man’ by Jasper Johns, this series explores how clay has the ability to pick up textures; it can record the memory of surfaces and translate them into a tactile experience. Designed to stimulate the senses, this everyday object highlights the joy of touch.

Pinch Ceramics Studio is a Singapore artist-run studio dedicated to the pleasure of working with clay. Founder Tricia Lim started working with clay as a child in her parents’ home studio. With Pinch, she is working with clay again to reconnect with her childhood rituals and share her joy in ceramics with the people around her.
