Lee Kuan Yew was born in Singapore on 16 September 1923 in a large two-story bungalow at 92 Kampong Java Road to a third generation descendent of immigrants from China's Guangdong province. He read law at Cambridge University, England and in 1954, he formed the People's Action Party(PAP). Five years later, the PAP won the general elections in Singapore and he became elections in Singapore and he became Prime Minister at the age of 35. This book is not about politics or his private life. It is about the many significant moments in Lee Kuan Yew's life.
