'bcc: in search for cures' by Baguio Art Lab in partnership with Japan Foundation Manila
‘bcc’ brings together five artists from The Philippines, Indonesia and Japan to partake in weekly digital exercises of care and healing. Throughout the month-long programme, the participants will remain anonymous to one another to cultivate more frank and sincere exchanges. This will culminate in a public online discussion at the end of the month, where the artists’ identities will be revealed for the first time.

24 October 2020, 2PM (GMT +8). Follow Baguio Art Lab’s website or Instagram for more information on how to view the live discussion.

‘Days — and counting’ by OH! Open House
OH! Open House brings their dynamic art walks online in an interactive exploration of pandemic circumstances over three seasons. ‘Days — and counting’ will present the individual with choices to make onscreen. This mirrors the idea of a walk, or a journey, in lieu of the actual physical experience. The first season will focus on our relationship with our living spaces and the multiple dimensions it has taken in an extended period of confinement.

The first season is launching on 30 October 2020, 9PM (GMT +8). For more information, please visit ‘Days — and counting’s website.

‘MONZOOM ZCHOOL’ by soft/WALL/studs
Initiated by artists Weixin Quek Chong and Kenneth Loe, ‘MONZOOM ZCHOOL’ articulates the alternative pathways outside of commodified systems of production. Each virtual session consists of a public sharing by invited contributors, and a close-door get-together where participants can engage in a more intimate discussion. The inaugural session saw artists Aki Hassan and Taufiq Rahman, and collective radioriotgrrrl (Nadirah Khalid & Mengju Lin), talk about the tensions and anxieties from operating within or outside of the art education structure. And in line with the initiative’s focus, possibilities and alternatives were surfaced as a way to dream collectively.

The second session featuring PURE EVER, ‘Good Morny, Pure Ever!’, will take place on 31 October 2020, 7 to 10PM (GMT +8). Follow MONZOOM ZCHOOL’s website or Instagram for more information on how to participate closer to the date.
A recording of the inaugural session’s public sharing will be made available
